Loved the card Betsy Veldman made for Make It Monday. I don’t have any of that clay, but needed to make a birthday card and loved her layout. I’ll get some clay at some point.
I hope you’ve seen all the great cards PTI is hosting on Heather Nichol’s Halloween Spook Out over the Labor Day weekend.
Our family loves Halloween and I love to send cards out for this fun holiday. With school in session, sometimes we need to make quick cards which I was able to do with some paper I found a couple of years ago from Basic Grey. I just added some Halloween creatures (Martha Stewart set I’ve had for a long time) in the empty diamond shapes. I’ll add a treat inside in October and we’re all set.
Now how easy is that?
A dream come true!

I made a few versions of this card with different sentiments using the Back Pocket Basics’ sun die and stamp. It’s a little blurry because the sun has a dimensional under it as well as a clear button and my scanner doesn’t know how to handle it. Cut the stem with my Cricut (Stretch Your Imagination) cartridge and of course the fence is a PTI die. The sentiment is from Lighten Up Stamp Set (PTI). I painted the heart about 5 years ago and happened to come across it in a box of embellishments floating around my desk.
